Generate Backup Phrase with JoyID

Since JoyID is a smart contract wallet deployed on the Nervos CKB, adding backup phrase/devices requires creating a smart contract account with 150 $CKB and occupying 150CKB. Before creating backup words, you need to upgrade.

1. Enter the JoyID wallet homepage, click the "⚙️" settings icon button in the upper right corner, and enter the "Security" interface.

   

2. Under "Recovery Methods," click on "Add Backup Phrase";

   

3. After entering the backup phrase page, please write down your backup phrase on paper or another method (you can also click "Renew phrase" to regenerate). After backing up, check "I have saved it in a safe place" and click "Confirm," then click "Add" after verification.

   

4. After verification, congratulations, you have successfully added "Backup Phrase" as a wallet backup method!

   

Please note:

1. These backup phrase can only be used within the JoyID wallet and cannot be imported into other wallets for recovery.
2. Please store the backup phrase offline and keep them in a safe place.

How to Regenerate JoyID Backup Phrase**?**

1. Enter the JoyID wallet homepage, click the "⚙️" settings icon button in the upper right corner, and enter the "Security" interface.

   

2. Under "Trusted Devices" click on the previously generated "Backup Phrase", click on "Delete My Backup Phrase" at the bottom, and click the "Delete" button for verification.
